About Us

The Patience Wright Chapter, NSDAR, has had a rich history since its founding on November 28, 1939. As the second oldest DAR chapter in Orange County, Patience Wright Chapter, NSDAR, has supported the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution through many local efforts.

We think you will enjoy the learning, sisterhood, and service opportunities that our chapter offers to honor and preserve the legacy of our Patriot ancestors. We invite you to attend a meeting as our guest and see if you’d like to be involved. Our meetings are held in the Laguna Beach area. Contact us for more details.

Some of our local activities include:

  • Laguna Beach Patriots Day Parade
  • Wreaths Across America
  • Working Wardrobes
  • Potters Lane
  • Laguna Beach High School awards: DAR Good Citizens Award and scholarship
  • Memorial Day services
Parade
